Skärsjön and Humsjön are two fish-rich lakes that are part of the Central Halland fisheries management area. Here you can try to outsmart the old pike, perch, eel, bream, tench, roach and several other species. Skärsjön is a unique clear water lake that not only offers large pike, but also a lovely bathing water. Humsjön is a shallow and reed-rich bird lake with a rich fish population. Fast-paced cycling in forests and fields
The forests around the cottages offer excellent opportunities for cycling in varied terrain: singletrack, forest trails and gravel roads. Perfect for both training camps for the Bocksten tour and for those who want to enjoy cycling at their own pace. The area is also ideal for orienteering and cross-country running.

Hike through beech forest and historic lands
From the cabins you can easily reach marked trails in varied nature. Experience when the beech forest unfolds in spring and the birds’ song fills the forest, or enjoy the colorful autumn and the clear, high air. We offer twelve different hiking trails of varying length and difficulty – some of them are stroller-friendly.
